Paul C. Adamski: Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Adamski has been employed in the financial services industry for 29 years. In 1997 Mr.
Adamski and a group of 14 other Portage County investors purchased the State Bank of Mattoon and relocated it's
charter and home office to Stevens Point. As a result Adamski became the founder of what is now essentially a
nine year old start up bank known as The Pineries Bank. Paul started his career immediately after graduating from
the University of Wisconsin as the Vice President of American Savings and Loan, he managed all operational and
loan department aspects of this $40 million organization. Mr. Adamski served as the first appointed Finance Director
for the City of Stevens Point, after which, when requested by Governor Tommy G. Thompson, he was appointed to the
position of Deputy Commissioner of Savings and Loan for the State of Wisconsin. From 1991 through 1996, Mr. Adamski
served as President and CEO of a central Wisconsin community bank. Mr Adamski is active in various community and
industry groups and has served as President of the Portage County Business Council and as President of Community
Bankers of Wisconsin. During 2003 Adamski was added to the list of his peers who have been honored to be named
the "Community Banker of the Year" by the state trade group, Community Bankers of Wisconsin. Currently,
Mr. Adamski serves as President of the Community Foundation of Portage County. He was recently re-elected by his
peers to the national board of directors of the Independent Community Bankers Association. Mr. Adamski also serves
at the pleasure of Wisconsin Governor James Doyle on the College Program Savings Board (Edvest) and the Savings
Bank Review Board. Paul is also involved in the local community by serving as the President of the Stevens Point
Water and Sewage Commission and a member of the city's Community Development Authority. Adamski is proud to have
been past President of the Bill Cook Chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America (A local conservation club).
He currently serves as the Chair of that organization's Endowment Fund.
