Our Bank Philosophy

The Pineries Bank was established in 1997 in the Central Wisconsin community of Stevens Point.  The bank was organized to serve customers in the local community who prefer to do business locally and recognize the value of establishing a long term relationship with the financial institution they choose to do business with.

Paul C. Adamski, President and founder of the bank notes, “Our bank prides itself on providing exceptional levels of personalized customer service in a warm friendly atmosphere.  We find our customers look forward to increasing the number of financial services we provide them as a result of the unique niche we fill in the marketplace.  Our competitively priced financial services, combined with our staff knowing many of our customers on a first name basis, results in our customers regularly referring business to our bank.”  The bank regularly promotes services that are associated with its Advantage Club membership.  By maintaining account balances in any number of deposit accounts of $5,000 or more, customers become Advantage Club members.  Many customers take pride in the fact, that the deposits they make in our bank are reinvested to make loans to their friends and neighbors right here in Central Wisconsin.

The bank’s primary trade area consists of the greater Stevens Point area, and to a lesser degree, the market of certain counties surrounding Portage County.  The Pineries Bank engages in general commercial and retail banking and offers a full range of loan and depository products.

The Pineries Bank was established recognizing that the Central Wisconsin marketplace needs the services of a bank that makes decisions locally.  “We are proud to have made $46 million dollars of loans in the local community, many of which would not have been made by large holding company banks who use formulas rather than knowledge of the marketplace to determine loan eligibility,” notes President Adamski.

The implementation of an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) in 2004 helps insure that the bank will continue to be locally owned and operated.  It also explains why many of the bank's staff work there until retirement age.  Any member of our staff would be pleased to respond to your questions or provide clarifications as you see fit.  Regularly, we thank our customers for doing business with The Pineries Bank, where you experience:
